CHILD HEALTH AND IMMUNIZATION
ALEJO Community Support Project is directly linked to the community even those community which are in undeveloped areas where traditional practices are still being upheld and as an organization we found that the community is not consistent with child health rights and immunization hence the organization has sought it important to work with the ministry of health in sensitizing the community about the importance of child healthy rights and immunization also facilitating transport for the work force of the ministry of healthy. Alejo is also the secretariat for the immunization platform in mufulira, Zambia.
THE GAVI FPP IMMUNIZATION PROJET
ALEJO CSP has been sub- granted a Full Portfolio Planning immunization project by GAVI through CHAZ. The project is meant to run for five years on the Copperbelt in three different districts namely; Mufulira, Ndola and Kitwe. The project focuses on identifying the zero dose and the missed children and ensuring that these children are fully vaccinated. Our core business is to increase demand for the immunization services that Ministry of Health is already offering and bridging the gap between the community and Ministry of Health.
