Malaria Social & Behavior Change Communication (SBCC)
The Alejo Community Support Project (Alejo CSP) Malaria Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Initiative is actively implementing SBCC activities in schools across Northwestern Province, Zambia. These activities aim to enhance malaria awareness, prevention, and control efforts among students, teachers, and school communities.
Through structured educational sessions, interactive discussions, and participatory learning methods, the project seeks to empower young learners with knowledge about malaria transmission, symptoms, early diagnosis, and effective prevention strategies such as consistent use of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs), proper environmental management, and prompt treatment-seeking behavior.
