ALEJO Community Support Project empowers small scale farmers in Capacity Building through short Intensive courses in crop diversification such as maize crop farming, soya beans growing and sunflower

 

Small scale farmers are the major contributors to our economy supply of the Major Crop Maize where 80% of the crop in Zambia is produced by the small scale farmer .despite these statistic record shows the small scale farmer has been working on a loss as  they cultivate on a very big scale and harvest very little and it’s the goal of  ALEJO Community Support Project to Improve the Small Scale farmers production from 10 bags of maize in a  lima to 50 bags in a lima through capacity building and supply of farming inputs such as seeds, organic fertilizer and weed killers
